The new ledger functionality, accessible via the “View related → Financials” option for properties, leases, and tasks, offers a user-friendly interface for analyzing financial statements, with filters for presets (e.g., last 30 days), monthly/yearly periods, or custom date ranges. Additionally, the Finances view now supports advanced free-text search across structured transaction data (e.g., payment method, amount, notes), including Greeklish input, and automatically calculates income, expenses, and financial results for displayed transactions, reducing reliance on complex and unwieldy Excel spreadsheets.

Looking ahead, the Breek.gr team plans further enhancements based on user feedback, including transaction categorization, grouping by property or owner, graphical ledger displays, PDF export with branding, and automatic change tracking for better traceability. Free-text search will expand to all records, such as finding properties with specific features, such as air-conditioning units.
